The Brigantine Andrew Doria Re-Created

Once more a ship known as the Andrew Doria will sail the high seas in the waters off North America and the Caribbean Sea.

The Brigantine will travel wherever there are opportunities for it to help

  • Celebrate important historical events
  • Provide educational experiences for any and all individuals in:
    • The United States
    • The Netherlands Antilles and
    • Elsewhere.
  • But to meet these challenges much work needs to be done we need to:
    • First discover the remains of the original Continental Navy Brigantine
    • Build a shipyard in a historic district of Havre de Grace, Maryland
    • And then construct the new vessel.

A model of the ship is on display at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Washington, DC
