Greg McKay's Model of Andrew Doria

 

When the Governor of St. Eustatius commissioned Allen Rawl to design the new Andrew Doria, Allen created an initial plan based upon his knowledge of 18th Century brigantines.

The ideas led to the construction of this model by Greg McKay in 2006. 

The same design concepts were also provided to Stephen Johnson who created the line Drawing of the ship as envisioned by Allen Rawl.

The Board of Andrew Doria - The First Salute is counting on these images to help generate the financial support needed to bring the 21st century version of this historic vessel to life.
